Rootr is the trading name of the business that operates rootr.uk and the customer portal at cp.rootr.uk. In these documents, Rootr, we and us mean that business. You are the customer named in the accepted order.
We are not registered for VAT and we do not publish a VAT number. The price shown before you pay is the price you pay.
Support, privacy, complaints and abuse reports: support@rootr.uk. These documents do not publish a postal address or a telephone number. No data protection officer is appointed in this version, and no ICO registration number is stated.
Version 1.0. Effective 17 October 2026. A company number and registered office will be added here when they are confirmed for the business taking new orders.

No general uptime credit
Rootr does not publish a general availability percentage or a general service-credit scheme. An uptime promise, a response-time target, or a service credit applies only when the order expressly includes it. Statutory remedies still apply. This page replaces any earlier placeholder that described a standing credit.
Internet services can be interrupted. We provide the ordered service with reasonable care and skill, as the Terms of Service describe. Hosting for the published packages is in London.
A long outage
If a substantial outage continues for 30 days, you may end the affected service and receive a pro-rata refund for the unavailable prepaid period. That does not limit a statutory right.
What we do tell you operationally
Renewal invoices go out 21 days before the renewal date, with a reminder 7 days before that date. Hosting stays online until 7 days after the renewal date if the renewal is unpaid, and is then deactivated. Domains keep resolving until cancellation 28 days after the renewal date. Support is reached at support@rootr.uk and through cp.rootr.uk. Included support hours are those stated in the order.
